AC Milan midfielder Ronaldinho has been far away from his prime and, according to Spanish news daily Sport, he is even contemplating calling time on his career at the end of the season.
The 29-year-old, two-times winner of the FIFA World Player of the Year award, joined Milan from Barcelona last year but he has been anything but happy at the San Siro.
His form at the Italian giants has been the subject of criticism and he has not been able to make the Rossoneri fans forget about Kaka's departure despite president Silvio Berlusconi's wish to have 'Dinho leading the team.
With Ronaldinho's involvement in the 2010 World Cup practically ruled out, the former Paris Saint-Germain man is allegedly thinking again about hanging up his boots. Brazilian radio Jovem Pan reports that the midfielder considered retiring from football during his last year at Barcelona, having been talked out of it by his brother and agent, Roberto de Assis.
However, his lack of success at Milan has reportedly brought the idea of retiring from football back on the table, and not even the possibility of returning to his homeland, where Ronaldo and Adriano have been very happy, appears to captivate him.
