在主場被新特蘭2比2逼平後，曼聯主教練費格遜對球證大發雷霆，他抨擊主裁維尼身體狀態不佳，導致比賽節奏被拖慢，而且補時也沒補夠。

球證的補時牌顯示要補4分鐘，曼聯在第92分鐘扳平了比分，而維尼在94分02秒時吹響了終場哨，費格遜對此十分不滿，他認為應該再多補一些時間。

「我對球證感到失望，他沒有為入球追加任何的時間，補時4分02秒就吹哨了。」

費格遜的意思是，球證該向曼徹斯特打比戰時那樣，為補時期間入球、重新開球追加補時，維尼曾是那場打比的第四球證，但今天他看起來並不想追加補時。

費格遜還抨擊維尼身體太差，常需要停下來休息，這等於在客觀上幫助新特蘭拖時間。「第二個球，維尼也是走到中圈去開球的，他需要休息，對這樣水準的一場比賽來說，他的身體根本不合格。」

「比賽的節奏要求有一名身體合格的球證，他不合格，這對我們的比賽是一個拖累。你看到國外球證身體狀態像賽狗一樣，我們有些球證還可以，但維尼不行。他給一個球員掏黃牌要花30秒，為的是讓自己喘口氣，這太荒唐了。」

我都覺得追平都偷笑,球證都做左野,李察遜跟本都無必要出場,第二張黃牌都無可能俾得出

Ferguson queries referee fitness

Sir Alex Ferguson questioned referee Alan Wiley's fitness after Manchester United's 2-2 draw with Sunderland.

Anton Ferdinand's injury-time own-goal gave United a point, but it was Wiley's display that incurred Ferguson's wrath.

He said: "The pace of the game demanded a referee who was fit. He was not fit. It is an indictment of our game.

"You see referees abroad who are as fit as butcher's dogs. He was taking 30 seconds to book a player. He was needing a rest. It was ridiculous."

Ferguson twice headed towards the touchline during the second half to make his feelings known about decisions made by the officials.

At one point, after he felt Anderson was denied a penalty, he jabbed his finger at fourth official Mike Dean and then pointed angrily to the pitch.

The 49-year-old Wiley was fourth official in the recent Manchester derby when United beat City with a controversial 96th minute goal, after four minutes of stoppage time had been signalled.

And as well as Wiley's fitness levels, Ferguson was unhappy about the referee's timekeeping after he failed to add on an additional minute to the four already signalled after Ferdinand's own goal.

"I was disappointed with the referee," said Ferguson. "He didn't add on any time for the goal.

"He played four minutes and two seconds. He was also walking up the pitch for the second goal needing a rest."

Ferguson's side put in a poor performance, with keeper Ben Foster at fault for the second-half header from Kenwyne Jones, which put the visitors 2-1 ahead.

"It was a soft goal to lose," admitted Ferguson. "Our passing was very poor in the first half.

"In the end we needed to show some great qualities to get something out of the game on a day when we played really badly."

Darren Bent had given Sunderland the perfect start, driving home his seventh goal of the season after just seven minutes.

United created little in reply until after half-time when Dimitar Berbatov found the net with a magnificent overhead kick.

Jones got above Foster to nod home Andy Reid's cross, but as Sunderland looked to gain their first Old Trafford win since 1968, former United winger Kieran Richardson was then sent off.

"It was stupid," said Sunderland boss Steve Bruce. "It is hard enough to defend here with 11 players.

"These things happen in the heat of the moment but it could have cost us the game."

United got the equaliser after one last assault at the visitors' goal saw Ferdinand unluckily deflect Patrice Evra's shot past goalkeeper Craig Gordon.

"It is totally disappointing," said Bruce. "I don't know what the stat is for the number of times Manchester United have done that but it is what makes this club what it is I suppose.

"It just proves you have to go down to the wire. Even when they don't play well, they always seem to get something out of it. They never give in."

個人意見

一貫新浪標題

球證幫對手拖時間：內文只係講老費抨擊球證體能不足, 拖慢整個比賽節奏, 但唔等於幫對手(曼聯都領先過, 一樣可以話係幫曼聯拖時間)
該向對曼城那樣補時：我自己第一野見到, 以為老費講又要補6,7分鐘, 但內文其實只係講老費埋怨球證無為補時既入波補返相應既時間, 咁既標題只係
