Flamenco, which originates from Andalucia - the southern province of Spain, is a performing art form of history of more than 500 years.
Flamenco has been influenced by many cultures, mainly from Gypsy culture.
Flamenco arts comprise three major elements - singing, guitar and dance. Dance improvises with music during performance. Nowadays Flamenco is welcome all over the world.
Flamenco has subjects of emotions of all kinds. There are more than 60 kinds of musical forms, and about 30 kinds are commonly performed. For dance, there are about 10 kinds commonly used. Dancer’s stepping rhythm and floral skirt are of the most attractive elements from Flamenco dance, that has lured so many to learn it.
Guitar is the major instrumental accompaniment for Flamenco performance.
The most impressive aspect of this course is live guitar accompaniment, which provides more tension and flexibility!!

Curriculum:
Tangos
4/4 rhythm. It is often performed because of its light and lively feeling. It is different from Argentina tango.
Tangos music is surging and has a power to make people dance. Spanish people often dance with Tangos music in their party.
Fees: $ 1800/12 (1 hr)
Time: 18:00 -19:00
For those who have no dance background
Farruca
4/4 rhythm. Serious and Cool. The origin of this tune is the dance of male. It has a sense of bullfighter’s passion. Then more and more women dance with this tune.
Farruca music is full of emotion and passion. Its uniqueness is shown in its foot-stepping and body movement.
Fees: $ 1900/12 (1 hr)

For those who have learnt dancing for more than half a year
Colombinans (with Castanets)
4/4 rhythm. It is a music genre originating from Colombia . It was later evolved into the present form in Spain . It has fast pace and Rumba-like feeling, and sounds warm and cheerful.
Fees: $ 2000/12 (1 hr)
Time: 16:00-17:00
For those who have learnt Flamenco dance for more than half a year
(Note: Students should bring their own Castanets for classes)
Alegrias
12 beat rhythm. A tune of happiness. Fast-paced and lively thus commonly performed. Dramatic, cheerful and magnificent. A must-learn Flamenco musical form.
