metal, eg...gp 1/2/3 loose 左 e-, 變 M1/2/3+, in such a way, achieve stable electronic configuration
non-metal, eg...gp 6/7/8 ............

咁 2 個 bind 埋, form 一個 (with cation(s) and anion(s) 既........

你個 dot and xxxxx diagram 用 iron 做 example 唔多好 lor~
佢一 check periodic table 有機仲 confuse lor
