Dear Officer of Consumer Consultant

I am writing for a serious complaint to Gameone Online Entertainment Group Limited (Gameone) which serves as the major purpose to provide online game service to their customers.

I am a player of the online game “QGL” under Gameone, the game is providing free of charge basis, however, there is a online shop that we can use Hong Kong Dollars turn in to token and purchasing virtual item there, the rate is about HK$113 for 9000 game token.  We need to use the login name and password to login to the game.  I am a player that has spend over HKD$2000.00 to play the game in just 3 months, so the game is providing freely but still being protected by consumer right.

The cause of complaint was on 9 July 2010 (Friday Night) around 23:00, we discovered that item’s price of their online shop dropped to around 90% off, as an user, we immediately purchase extra token to buy a lot of bargain items from the online shop, until 10 July 2010 (Saturday Early Morning) around 1:00, the game server shut down suddenly, and tried to login again but failed.

We tried to login but still failed, there are no notice nor any email to advice what is going on with the service we pay, until On 10 July 2010 around 18:31, there was a notice advice that a list of players’ account locked since they found of unstable situation occurred.  

The time now is 12 July 2010 13:57, we are still unable to login without any further notice nor email, as a player that pay a bulky to play, I am very dissatisfy with the rumor occur and their rude manner to lock my account when this is not our fault.  I hope you, Consumer Consult, could look at the situation of the game company like this, as this Gameone as they have taken away the right as a consumer.  

The worse part was, we tried to call, to send email for a relevant reply but negative, we only got reply like, thank you for your comment….etc.  I am very disappoint and dissatisfy with the situation, please take serious investigation with this, providing the information as for your reference:
