PROBABLE LINE-UPS

Everton (4-4-1-1): Howard; Hibbert, Jagielka, Distin, Baines; Osman, Neville, Rodwell, Arteta; Cahill; Beckford.

Little has changed on the injury front for Everton following last week's disappointing 1-1 draw away to Wigan Athletic, though David Moyes may be tempted to replace Victor Anichebe with Jermaine Beckford having seen the Nigerian international disappoint at the DW Stadium.

Marouane Fellaini and Louis Saha (both ankle) are certainties to miss out through injury and it may just be too soon for John Heitinga, who is looking to overcome hamstring trouble.

Manchester City (4-3-3): Hart; Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov; De Jong, Barry, Toure; Johnson, Balotelli, Silva.

The visitors are likely to continue with the same team that has seen an upsurge in form at Eastlands in recent weeks, as they look to continue their recent performances without their sidelined talisman Carlos Tevez (hamstring).

Germany international Jerome Boateng (knee) is still out with injury, as is Micah Richards (hamstring) who is unlikely to feature again this season.
