Ronaldo responds following Liverpool link         

Real Madrid striker Ronaldo has responded to recent speculation that suggests he could be set for a summer exit from the Bernabeu.

The 29-year-old Brazilian has been offered to Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez by one of his representives (Giovanni Branchini) and this has sparked some cautious interest from Anfiel  but it's worth pointing out that no deal would be considered if Ronaldo was to make unrealistic personal demands.

Speaking about his plans, Ronaldo said: "I have never felt at home in the Bernabeu.

"When I'm in the street, the people show me a lot of affection, but I never get that inside the Bernabeu. I have never felt that kind of love.

"I've never stayed in a place where I am not wanted. I will have to consider my future at the end of the season. As far as a move to England goes, I will consider all options."

While Jamie Carragher couldn't hide his obvious disappointment at seeing Liverpool lose 1-0 in Benfica the Reds defender insisted the tie is far from over, and is confident Rafael Benitez's side will turn things around at Anfield in the second leg.  
Carragher felt it was an unjust defeat as Liverpool controlled the majority of the play but acknowleged one mistake towards the end of the game cost them dearly.
  
"Before they scored I can't remember a chance they had really but it's disappointing to lose a goal from a set piece," reflected Carragher.
  
"It's only half-time. We can turn it around at Anfield and it's up to us to try and break them down. We had a lot of the play but what we have got to improve on is hurt teams a lot more than we did on Tuesday night."

It was a disappointing night overall for Liverpool as the Reds lost 1-0 in the Champions League first leg tie in Benfica, and you can now watch the best of the action with our extended highlights.  
A goal from Brazilian defender Luisao seven minutes from time gave Benfica the win and a 1-0 lead to take to Anfield for the second leg.
  
Liverpool were left feeling somewhat deflated by the result having controlled the majority of the play, but it is only half-time in the tie and a great European night beckons at Anfield in a fortnight's time.

第9分鐘，利物浦隊在右路長傳到對方的禁區裏，摩連迪斯拍馬趕到，但是對方門將出擊的也相當的快，把球撲在自己的身下。第15分鐘，利物浦隊任意球機會，傳了一記低平後，加西亞腳後跟的射門非常的有創意，可惜沒有形成威脅。第16分鐘，賓菲加隊在禁區左路得到任意球機會，但是羅伯托開出的球直接飛出了底線。第24分鐘，利物浦隊在左路傳中了，賓菲加隊的門將摩利亞拉出擊沒有碰到皮球，空門，可惜沒有利物浦隊員的包抄。第27分鐘，西芒甩開了希比亞的防守，單刀球的機會面對門將，但是連拿出擊的速度同樣很快，他搶在西芒之前把球得到。


第28分鐘，連拿大腳把球開出，福勒在對方禁區背身把球保護住，把球回傳給後上的加西亞，可惜球在中途被A.摩連拿碰了一下。第37分鐘，賓菲加隊的右側角球，球開到門前，貝托飛身頭球沖頂，球打偏。第39分鐘，摩連迪斯左側把球長傳球基維爾，F.費蘭迪斯中場斷球了，但在懷斯一次中場的戰術犯規，把回防時間爭取了回來，裁判沒有出牌。第43分鐘，芬倫大腳把球傳到前場，夏文把球分給福勒，球在中途被碰了一下改變了方向，摩利亞拉出擊把球沒收。上半場比賽結束，雙方0:0平淡收場。

下半場易地再戰，第49分鐘，利物浦隊反擊的機會，福勒大腳把球精確的傳給了摩連迪斯，但是後者的速度太慢了，沒有在第一時間拿球打到。第51分鐘，福勒中把球分到邊路，基維爾得球後直接把球推到門前，阿隆索打門，被對方後衛擋出。第55分鐘，加西亞在樞裏得到機會，但是他沒有在第一時間打門，再想射門時候，球被斷。第60分鐘，摩連迪斯在禁區前突破後和隊友打配合，自己再向禁區裏插，配合失誤。第62分鐘，賓菲加的一名球員在中場一腳吊門，好在站位靠前的連拿及防的回跑把球得到。

第67分鐘，懷斯大斬把球擲到禁區裏，摩連迪斯高高躍起頭球攻門，皮球高出。第71分鐘，賓菲加在的後防出現了失誤，基維爾搶下皮球後傳中，F.費蘭迪斯防守沒有碰到球，後上的施斯打門，沒有打正部位。第79分鐘，賓菲加隊在中場進攻，尼古斯突破到禁區前，沒有人上來防，選擇一腳遠射，球被擋出底線。第85分鐘，後衛路易松接到隊友開出的任意球，門前力壓希比亞頭球攻門，攻破了連拿的十指關，賓菲加主場1:0領先衛冕冠軍。之後儘管利物浦極力想將比分扳平，只可惜進攻的組織實在是太差，最終全場比賽結束利物浦0:1不敵賓菲加。

Ronald Koeman couldn't hide his delight after seeing his Benfica side beat Liverpool 1-0 in Lisbon, but admitted the tie is far from over with the second leg looming in a fortnight's time at Anfield.  
Benfica's Dutch coach admitted the game was far from a classic encounter but felt his team deserved their 1-0 victory on the night.
  
"It wasn't a fantastic game but it was a fantastic occasion for Benfica," enthused Koeman.
  
"We didn't play well in the first half but we attacked more in the second half.
  
"It was difficult for us and difficult for Liverpool. It was mainly defending and a lot of pressure in midfield, which meant there wasn't a lot of space for individual players on either side.
  
"It's a very good result, because if we score in Liverpool they have to score three times.
  
"We needed only one goal and we deserved what we got. Liverpool defended very well and it was not easy to create anything. The mid-field players had a lot of problems creating chances against such good defence.
  
"They will attack more at Anfield but their way of play is always similar. In the second leg Steven Gerrard will play from the start.
  
"It was their first defeat in the Champions League proper this season and Liverpool have played Chelsea twice and not lost.
  
"But we have now beaten them as well as Manchester United, it shows we are also a good side."
