約8:12 耶稣又對衆人說：“我是世界的光。跟從我的，就不在黑暗裏走，必要得著生命的光。”
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. 約8:13 法利賽人對他說：“妳是爲自己作見證，妳的見證不真。”
The Pharisees therefore said unto him, Thou bearest record of thyself; thy record is not true.
約8:14 耶稣說：“我雖然爲自己作見證，我的見證還是真的。因我知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去；妳們卻不知道我從哪裏來，往哪裏去。
Jesus answered and said unto them, Though I bear record of myself, yet my record is true: for I know whence I came, and whither I go; but ye cannot tell whence I come, and whither I go.
約8:15 妳們是以外貌（原文作“憑肉身”）判斷人，我卻不判斷人。
Ye judge after the flesh; I judge no man.
約8:16 就是判斷人，我的判斷也是真的，因爲不是我獨自在這裏，還有差我來的父與我同在。
And yet if I judge, my judgment is true: for I am not alone, but I and the Father that sent me.
約8:17 妳們的律法上也記著說：‘兩個人的見證是真的。’
It is also written in your law, that the testimony of two men is true.
約8:18 我是爲自己作見證，還有差我來的父也是爲我作見證。”
I am one that bear witness of myself, and the Father that sent me beareth witness of me.
約8:19 他們就問他說：“妳的父在哪裏？”耶稣回答說：“妳們不認識我，也不認識我的父；若是認識我，也就認識我的父。”
Then said they unto him, Where is thy Father? Jesus answered, Ye neither know me, nor my Father: if ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also.
約8:20 這些話是耶稣在殿裏的庫房教訓人時所說的，也沒有人拿他，因爲他的時候還沒有到。
These words spake Jesus in the treasury, as he taught in the temple: and no man laid hands on him; for his hour was not yet come.
