In the first round of the 2nd ASEAN Football Championship about 8 years ago Thailand(red) played against Indonesia(white) in the last game of their group phase. The two teams didn't want to win the match because they didn't want to face Vietnam, hosts in the semi-final. That's the reason why Indonesia's defender(White kit -no.8) scored the own goal intentionally in the injury time of the second-half. Thailand won 3-2 and faced Vietnam in the semi-final.

Then, during injury time, Indonesian defender Mursyid Effendi deliberately kicked the ball into his own goal, despite the Thai's attempts to stop him doing so, thus handing Thailand a 3-2 victory.
