Dark-Alex.org論壇的管理員之一，因為發佈過自己修改版的HEN而小有名氣的駭客m0skit0，就M33小組以及PSP駭客世界至今沒有破解5.55的情況，回答了部分網友的問題，以下是主要內容摘錄：

Yes, that's the way it's gonna be because experienced sceners don't want Sony to take the upper hand just before releasing the Go. This way, I'm sure those FW are already cracked but this is kept secret so Sony cannot know it. Hoping PSPGo will be taken by surprise and quickly hacked if it uses a similar OFW than those available right now. You're certainly one of the few idiots with no knowledge trying to hack it and give Sony the excuse to release a new FW and that way the upper hand when PSPGo is released. Because, why would Sony bother changing the encryption if this last one has not been cracked (or at least that's what they think)? Use that grey matter once in your life...
And dude, wanna play those games? Then put OFW and above all: buy them. CFW is mainly for homebrew as stated a trillion times. Don't like it? Then do it yourself. Stop bothering other people to do what you want but can't do.
這個問題已經說過也爭論過很多次了。我在這裡要再次重複一下，是的，不破解5.55是目前任何一位有經驗的駭客的最佳選擇。因為我們不想讓sony在發佈PSP GO的時候佔得先機。我敢肯定，目前的這些官方固件，早就已經破解了，但是駭客們會保持沉默，因此SONY不會有任何的警惕。這樣的話，當PSP GO發佈的時候，大家很快就會得到一個驚喜：PSP GO 破解了！因為如果SONY發現之前的固件沒有破解，就會使用與以往相類似的加密方式，到時破解將十分簡單。一些沒什知識的瘋子嘗試著破解官方固件，然後給SONY機會去修改加密方式，發佈新的固件，應用到PSP GO之上，這會給破解帶來很多的難度，將會成為十分糟糕的事。
想要玩那些需要5.55支援的遊戲？最好的辦法是：拋棄破解的念頭，直接去買UMD吧。自製固件一直是用來運行自製軟件的，不是玩盜版遊戲的。什麼？你覺得我說的不對？那你自己破解去好了。不要因為你自己不能破解5.55而在論壇上打擾大家的生活。
