Los Blancos legend on way out of club...
By Andy Street

Real Madrid legend Raul is set to leave the club tomorrow after spending 16 years plying his trade at the Bernabeu. The Madrid club have announced that they are to hold a farewell ceremony for their iconic number 7 and all-time leading goalscorer on Monday to mark the end of an era.
The 33-year-old made his first team debut for Los Blancos in 1994, having originally started his career across town with city rivals Atletico Madrid, and has since established himself as one of the Spanish giant's best players of all time.
Despite his prolific strike record for Real Madrid, the former Spanish international has seen his first team opportunities restricted over the past few seasons as fresh blood has been brought in to reinvigorate the club. His expressed desire to keep playing first team football thus made a move inevitable despite efforts to keep him at the Bernabeu.
Raul has been targetted by Harry Redknapp at Spurs, but is now widely expected to move to German club Schalke who have long coveted his services.
The official announcement of Raul's departure comes in the wake of this weekend's announcement that midfielder Guti is also set to leave the Bernabeu.
