- WWE.com unveiled their top 11 "up-and-coming competitors the world of sports-entertainment will be talking about this year." The ranking is as follows: 11. Ezekiel Jackson, 10. Tyson Kidd, 9. Tamina, 8. Alex Riley, 7. David Otunga, 6. Drew McIntyre, 5. Skip Sheffield, 4. Cody Rhodes, 3. Dolph Ziggler, 2. Daniel Bryan, 1. Alberto Del Rio.
- Randy Orton is featured on the cover of the latest issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated.
- To follow up on the news of former TNA Knockouts champion Awesome Kong signing with World Wrestling Entertainment, WWE reportedly asked Kong to clear up her legal situation in Florida before going to work for the company. Kong was arrested last month in Hillsborough County, Florida for driving without a suspended license. According to a WWE source, Kong no longer lives in Florida but went back in December to turn herself in and resolve the traffic violation.

- The December 30, 2010 episode of WWE Superstars on WGN America drew a 0.67 cable rating, with 635,000 viewers. The midnight replay drew a 0.15, with 149,000 viewers.
- Due to Wade Barrett's loss in the main event match on RAW Monday night, he has been banished from The Nexus. Earlier in the evening, CM Punk offered the Englishman his opportunity to compete in the Steel Cage Match. Were Barrett to win, he would remain leader of The Nexus. However, were he to lose, he would be banished from the group forever.

The Miz and Alex Riley came out after Raw went off the air and started ripping on Randy Orton and Phoenix. The crowd came alive and booed for about two straight minutes, even when Miz started talking.
Michael Cole got in the ring, which drew a lot of heat. Orton slithered in, RKO'd Miz and Riley, then teased a Cole RKO but Cole got away. Orton posed to send thecrowdhome.

- Footage has surfaced from the live feed of Monday's RAW of Melina, Maryse and Alicia Fox apparently ad-libbing a promo prior to their Divas Tag Match against Natalya, Eve Torres and Brie Bella. The feed can bee seen here.
Melina gives a half-hearted explanation for her recent actions against Natalya by simply saying, "I guess I don't really have anything to say other than, I guess I just get a little emotional." She then laughs and passes the microphone to Maryse, who proceeds to speak in French. Alicia Fox then says, "This is true class right here so just get used to it."
- Several top World Wrestling Entertainment executives received major stock options at the end of 2010. For instance, Executive Vice President of Television Production Kevin Dunn sold 18,000 shares for $258,300 on Dec 29. Shares of WWE stock owned by Dunn are currently worth $1.77 million. A trust fund Vince McMahon earmarked in 2008, which is separate from his own stock portfolio, sold 2,866,944 shares on Dec. 29—equal to $41,140,646. - The New Year's Eve edition of SmackDown drew a 1.43 cable rating, with 2,205,000 viewers. It is a record low rating for a first-run episode of SmackDown on Syfy.

- Big Show has landed a role in the upcoming Nickelodeon series "Supah Ninjas, which is centered around a group of high school kids who are ninjas. A casting call was issued today for a stand-in for the WWE Superstar with the casting director asking for a Caucasian male "6'9' or taller who is 400 to 475lbs." |
