Fan Suing WWE, The Rock, and Triple H for Injury

Story By: Steve Carrier

According to an article by The Courier Journal out of Louisville, Kentucky, an 18 year-old man is suing WWE, Triple H, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson for an injury he allegedly suffered at the Judgment Day PPV in 2000. The event was headlined by HHH vs. The Rock in an Iron Man match and the man was seven years old at the time of the incident.

The article states that when HHH and Rock brawled into the crowd, there was a chain reaction of people moving that ended with a woman landing on the plaintiff and allegedly causing him knee and leg injuries. The plaintiff, named Basham in the article, recently had to have surgery on the knee. His attorney is claiming that there is no statue of limitations for filing the lawsuit since Basham was a minor when he was allegedly injured. The lawsuit accused WWE of failing to properly stage the match and provide adequate security for its customers. HHH and Rock are named in the suit and accused of "reckless, willful and wanton conduct."

The suit was filed on Monday, and WWE has not responded to media requests regarding the lawsuit.

Former Diva Tiffany Responds to Being Pulled from Match

Story By: Steve Carrier
Taryn "Tiffany" Terrell posted the following on her Twitter account, discussing her side of the story on the California booking that she was pulled from.

"I was taken off a show without my knowledge. I was very much looking forward to this match and am saddened that they were in talks with my team and decided against working with me. Nothing I was asking was out of the ordinary, and it is standard in every entertainment contract. In fact, I was taking far less than my booking fee to have the amazing opportunity to face Alissa Flash. I apologize to my fans as I did not see this coming. No one communicated that they didn't want to review the contract and I was unaware they were pulling me. And I hope to see you guys, my wonderful fans, soon. I do thank Diva-Dirt, ChickFight, and Pro Wrestling Revolution for considering me and hope to have the opportunity to work with you all at some point. I do have a few appearances coming up which will be posted online soon! Love you all! "

Post-WrestleMania RAW News, Kane Seminar, More

- WWE star Glenn "Kane" Jacobs and faculty from the Mises Institute will be participating in an "Economics in One Lesson: High School Seminar" in Knoxville, Tennessee on February 11th of this year. The seminar is being sponsored by the Tennessee Liberty Alliance.

- It's interesting to note that with Tough Enough beginning the night after WrestleMania 27, there won't be any three-hour RAW shows in the 10 weeks that the show airs. Usually there is a three-hour RAW/WWE Draft show shortly after WrestleMania.

Shad Talks About John Morrison & MMA's King Mo in WWE

Story By: Marc Middleton
- Former WWE star Shad Gaspard appeared on Right After Wrestling with Arda Ocal and Jimmy Korderas Monday night. You can hear the full interview here. Here are some quotes:

Shad on MMA fighter King Mo and WWE:

"(Former Strikeforce MMA Light Heavyweight Champion King Mo Lawal) actually tried out (for the WWE). Gerald Brisco got him a tryout with WWE. They were ready to sign him and he was ready to sign. He decided not to come with WWE because, we were out drinking one night. I told him that he's young, he can still do it.. he should fight right now, do what he has to do now and then later on become a pro wrestler. I know he will be a superstar when it's his time. He's in in no rush. I'm super proud of him."

Shad on John Morrison:

I haven't watched wrestling in months. Tonight was the first night I watched because I knew Morrison was wrestling, and I was hoping he'd win the title. You know it's one of those things where the really good athlete doesn't necessarily make the really good wrestler in some people's opinions. And it's not the people who are watching the product, it's the people who are in the back. I think Morrison is a phenomenal athlete. But when you put him in a wrestling ring and that talent sometimes get unshowcased and sometimes I feel people like him get the short end of the stick."
