召喚師們，

我是 Garena 台港澳區執行長 Retty，我們正在聆聽各位對 Riot 全明星賽的大量意見反饋，同時如各位所見，我們非常在意台灣各大社群的意見。

我們發現不少召喚師為了投票規則的特殊性感到十分不滿，也因此我們與 Riot 電子競技首席主管 Redbeard 經過了一次又一次的商討。我能夠保證，Riot 已經收到台港澳召喚師們的意見，徹底了解，並且十分在乎各位的想法與訴求。

就在今天，我找到機會向 Redbeard 再次傳達台灣玩家的意見，他請我將以下這段文字忠實的帶給召喚師們。Riot 願意將這些規則背後的真實想法讓各位知道。我也將這封信親手翻譯為中文，你可以選擇閱讀原文或透過我的文字了解內容。

Hello to the Taiwanese League of Legends community,
哈囉，台灣（意指台港澳區）英雄聯盟社群中的召喚師們，

I’ve had a chance to listen to what Taiwanese players have to say about the all-star situation, and I’ve spoken at length with Retty and others about why you’re upset. I understand you’re frustrated and disappointed, and I’m truly sorry if you feel we’ve let you down. I’d really appreciate the opportunity to share our thinking behind the regional limits for all-stars representing Garena countries.
我藉著這次機會聆聽台灣召喚師們關於全明星賽的意見，並且與 Retty 和其他同事了解你們會感到沮喪的原因了。我明白你們對此（明星賽的規定）感到失望，如果你認為我們辜負了你的期望，我真誠地感到抱歉。同時，我希望藉這個機會，向各位分享在Garena地區的全明星賽票選中［人數限制］的背後意義。

Every region has a similar 3 player limit rule. While the exact rules vary depending on the unique characteristics of each regional pro scene, the spirit of these rules is to ensure diverse representation of talent from throughout the region. No one team or country should monopolize the all-star team that’s meant to represent the entire region.
事實上，每個地區都有三個名額的規定，而這個規定會依照所在地區職業聯賽的特性而有所不同（譯註：在有些地區的三名額限制僅套用在隊伍上，亦即每隊最多派出三人；而有些則同時套用在隊伍與地區上，例如 Garena 營運地區）。無論規則如何改變，這些規則背後的精神，是讓選手的組成有更多變化、更具有地區代表性。也就是說，不應該有任何一個國家、地區或隊伍，可以寡頭獨佔名額而代表整個地區。

For Taiwan – because your pro league is the GPL – that means the all-star teams are intended to represent Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia and the Philippines. Those countries have talented players and passionate fans, and the spirit of our rule is to give them respect and representation, even if that means some of the most popular and talented players can’t compete for their region.
回到台灣，因為你們的職業聯賽是 GPL – 這代表全明星賽的隊伍將代表台灣、香港、澳門、越南、泰國、新加坡、馬來西亞和菲律賓。這些國家也擁有有潛質的選手與熱情的粉絲，而這個三名額規則的精神就是賦予他們尊重與代表地區參賽的可能性，雖然這麼做的確可能讓幾位得票數最高的選手無法代表參賽。

While this may not make up for your disappointment, one important thing I can share is that as the region that’s home to the reigning World Champions, SEA and Taiwan get a free bye in the All-Star game. This means your region will automatically finish in the top 4, which means you’re also guaranteed a bye in the World Championship later this year.
這樣的解釋也許不能彌補你們的失望，因此有另一件我可以分享的事：作為擁有第二季世界大賽冠軍（TPA）的地區，台港澳與東南亞所組成的隊伍，在全明星賽第一輪的比賽將保證第一輪輪空，這意味著你們的地區代表隊將可以晉級四強（譯註：全明星賽共有五支隊伍）。而從我們目前的 Season 3 世界大賽規則來看，這同時也代表這個地區未來將有一支隊伍，可以在 S3 世界大賽直接得到一次跳過預賽某個階段的優勢。（譯註：具體的 S3 規則、參賽隊伍數、賽制等，Riot 會在之後另行公告）

This was a very tough decision to make, and while I know our answer isn’t popular with Taiwanese players, I hope you at least understand why we arrived at the decision we did.
這（制定這樣的規則）是一個非常難做的決定。雖然我相信這樣的結果台灣召喚師並不滿意，我還是希望至少你們能了解我們為什麼做出這些決定。

成個Europe 都係得一隊啦
點解將港澳台入落South east asia 就唔得?
Turkey, Brazil, 呢d ser咪一樣列入NA 同EU 到
Korea 就特別例外，因為高手如雲，一個國家既高手數量等同出面成個region
其實D人明唔明白All Star 既目的?

但都唔關all star voting 事
騰訊講明riot係獨立運作
頂多都係爭取到中國自己獨立為一個region
