REDS ON TOUR: DAY 6 Mark Platt in Hong Kong 28 July 2007
	Liverpool are in Hong Kong for the 2007 Barclays Asia Cup and the club's official website will be following them every inch of the way. Here's a taste of what's been happening on day six of the tour...
Adidas officials invited Liverpool's coaching staff and members of the team for a look around their Hong Kong flagship store on Friday morning. The Reds squad were made to feel most welcome as they were shown around the three-story building in Langham Place, Kowloon, and they happily chatted to fans while checking out the latest range of clothing and sportswear. Adidas marketing director Clive Evans said: "It was great for us to be able to bring Rafa and the lads to one of our stores. This is the first tour we've attended since renewing our partnership and we'd like to thank everyone at the club for their assistance. We've worked closely with the players and coaches during their visit to Hong Kong. Their help has been one hundred per cent appreciated and long may we work together." *****    Liverpool's Asian army of fans may have turned the Hong Kong Stadium into a sea of Red but another familiar Scouse banner was on display behind one of the goals last night. Well in to the lads from Kirkdale for making the journey!    *****    Momo Sissoko may have come in for some unnecessary stick from local supporters during the South China game on Tuesday but the Asian Reds did their best to raise his spirits in the final against Portsmouth with several banners spotted in crowd proclaiming 'Support Momo'.    *****    It's official. Alice-bands are making a comeback at Liverpool. In the best traditions of Patrik Berger and Vladimir Smicer, Fernando Torres and Lucas Leiva are set to make this particular form of headwear popular once again after both appeared sporting one in the Barclays Asia Trophy Final against Portsmouth. Not sure it'd suit Stevie G or Carra though so can't see it catching among their team-mates!    *****    LFC Academy coaches Magnus Alford and Adam Flynn completed their week-long work on Friday afternoon when they hosted a seminar on the various training methods and practices that are used to aid the development of elite players at the Kirkby-based complex. The pair have been working in conjunction with adidas during Liverpool's pre-season Asian Trophy tournament in Hong Kong. The coaches flew out with the first team staff and players last Saturday and have been enjoying every minute of the experience. During their stay they have coached players between the ages of 13-16 that have flown over to Hong Kong from Singapore, Thailand, China and Japan to take part in the adidas ‘Are you Red Enough’ Football Tournament. "It has been a fantastic learning experience for us both. The staff and players have been great with us. We have had the chance to watch the players train and speak to Rafa after his sessions and he has been really helpful offering us advice and explaining his practices and philosophies," said Magnus, who added: "It has also been very interesting speaking with Rob Price the club physiotherapist about the diet and fitness plans that he has in place. It is every coaches dream to talk football with one of the world's greatest coaches, we have both learnt a great deal."
