在出售祖亞昆到華倫西亞後，貝迪斯簽得效力多蒙特的德國國腳奧當高加盟。

這位在世界杯中有不俗表現的右中場將於週一抵達西維爾巿進行體測。

據報轉會費達 600 萬歐元。較早前球會以2500 萬歐元出售祖亞昆到華倫西亞。

現年22 歲的奧當高替德國上陣六次，但全部均是後備上陣。

繼續和大家回顧第1周西甲賽事，其實上星期英超聯及西甲多場比賽，我覺得最值得回味是星期六的其中兩場，說到以往利物浦與華倫西亞的關係，可以數到02/03球季兩隊在歐聯分組賽抽中同組，到侯利亞年代結束後，利物浦便由華倫西亞撬走賓尼迪斯到來執教，而來到今屆的比賽，兩隊很快已經各有一仗踢得非常相近；相近之處先有利物浦的對手是中游球隊韋斯咸，華倫西亞的對手亦是屬中游班的貝迪斯，結果兩隊不約而同以2-1險勝，而兩隊在險勝當中，都有一位鋒將及一位中堅可以成為球隊焦點，以及是球隊未來展望的重心。


由今屆歐聯外圍賽與大家分享對利物浦的意見開始，一直提到較擔心他們的後防，果然目前在加歷查受傷之下，利物浦除了希比亞之外，就只得艾加一個用人選擇，利物浦未來數仗的演出與艾加表現的好與壞，可說是有一定的關係；事實上艾加算是在歐洲暫時未能証明自己實力的球員，今年22歲的他是丹麥國家隊新貴，在2006年1月的冬季轉會市場，由邦比以580萬英鎊加盟利物浦，但由於加盟之後隨即受傷，及加歷查、希比亞一直表現穩定，以致艾加一直搶不到正選位置，甚至到今季季初的熱身賽中，他的表現亦不算特別好，但在目前別無選擇之下，利物浦需要他廖化作先鋒，感覺上頗令人擔心他會應付不來。同時間在華倫西亞亦有類似情況出現，由他們在西甲首周比賽對貝迪斯，以及之前在歐聯外圍賽對薩爾斯堡時，我都提及過他們的後防有值得隱憂之處，艾耶拉與球隊鬧翻，現已被掛牌出售，因而被雪藏不獲派上陣，另外馬真拿的正選位置亦隨著他落選國家隊而失去，大衛拿華路上季上陣機會較少，只踢過8場比賽，華倫西亞今季首先要起用他擔任正選，此外年青球員艾比奧爾雖然是西班牙U21國家隊成員，甚至受過傳媒追捧，認為他是未來西班牙國家隊的中堅人選，但他始終仍未累積到足夠經驗，亦未有足夠機會証明自己的材料，所以對他表現的懷疑，情況與利物浦的艾加其實頗為相似；但無獨有偶地，上述兩位球員都在上周比賽中為球隊射入關鍵入球，其中利物浦在上半場尾段，憑艾加射入世界波追成1-1，而艾比奧爾亦為華倫西亞在下半場射入致勝一球。


首先關於艾加的入球，有很多弦外之音可以跟大家分享，對手韋斯咸今仗其實有一個不錯的開局，先有森莫拉的福至心靈，瞄到利物浦門將連拿在捉路判斷間有少許失位，結果他在最後關頭鎖死腳腕拉射近柱入網(當晚我在廣州評述這場比賽，拍檔前廣東、中國國家隊門將孔國賢，教我如何觀察森莫拉看到連拿失位及決定鎖腳射近柱；事實上森莫拉今季開季腳風奇順，暫時更是射手榜排第一的球員，他夠膽在這個情況下起腳射門，是值得表揚的嘗試)，但韋斯咸在取得領先之後，竟然與在第1周領先利物浦之後的錫菲聯一樣，為了希望保持勝局而將防線退得太後，結果艾加在上半場尾段上前助攻，竟然足足推進了約20至30碼都沒有韋斯咸球員上前迫搶，終於被艾加在推順之下起腳抽入世界波；特別要強調在較早前的世界盃，大家不斷提到新設計的比賽用足球，而今季英超聯所用的足球牌子雖然不同，但亦是新設計的比賽用款式，特性同樣是更快、更飄、更輕，對於門將繼續是一個惡夢，事實上這球可以說是今季英超聯暫時最精彩的入球，皮球在空中以類似蛇型的曲線飄行，結果精彩地飄入網角。艾加所入的是毫無疑問的一球靚波，而艾比奧爾所入的一球則算是有點幸運成份，但卻不能抹殺了艾比奧爾在門前的射門觸覺，當時在比賽踢成1-1之下，華倫西亞得到一次角球機會，貝迪斯未能成功解圍，然後皮球輾轉落在艾比奧爾面前，艾比奧爾在毫不考慮下選擇凌空窩利施射，雖然這個射門是因為射中地面才出現奇怪旋轉及彈跳，難到貝迪斯門將杜比拉斯，但仍顯示出艾比奧爾的反應快及基本腳法不俗，作為一個後衛要處理這種高難度射門，能夠射中門框是最重要的先決條件，結果艾比奧爾真的做到了這一點，為華倫西亞射入奠定勝局的一球。


隨著取得這兩個入球，對於兩位新秀的信心將有倍增效果，特別可能因為艾加對於自己的安全感不夠，經常都覺得他的表現有點「手騰腳震」，事實上他與希比亞亦不算特別合拍，一位太過年青，另一位則年事漸高，在彈跳能力、回防及轉身速度方面都比較慢的情況下，利物浦今季的失球較多，暫時仍未試過能保持不失；但當艾加射入這球世界波之後，在下半場其表現明顯有信心得多，艾加演出之轉趨穩定，以及艾比奧爾之在首仗已有精彩表現，對於二人在未來球隊的位置，甚至爭正選方面應有很大幫助。


除後衛之外，鋒將方面華倫西亞在剛戰賽前，已差不多落實以2600萬歐元由貝迪斯收購到西班牙國腳右翼祖亞昆，祖亞昆在2006年渡過了一個不算太黯淡、但亦算不上光輝的大半季，在球會要為貝迪斯打護級，在國家隊則淪為半主力，基於祖亞昆上個球季的沉寂，在世界盃表現亦只是不過不失，盛傳今季有很多英超聯球隊希望祖亞昆過檔，但傳聞直到開季仍一直只聞樓梯響，未見有真正行動，誰知突然石破天驚地，在消息傳出得快亦完成得快之下，祖亞昆轉眼間加盟了華倫西亞；華倫西亞是一支打反擊的球隊，以往在兩翼邊路產生的威脅很大，仍很清楚記得在賓尼迪斯年代，今季被放棄的魯費迪在右路表現很好，配合在左邊亦踢得出色的維辛迪，華倫西亞的入球很多時候都來自反擊及兩翼進攻，時至今日華倫西亞中場中路雖然有艾馬離隊，但因傷無緣入選世界盃大軍的維辛迪，傷癒復出後在剛戰對貝迪斯表現仍風采依然，如今右路加入了祖亞昆，對於華倫西亞相信是真正的如虎添翼。


至於另一邊廂的利物浦，新加盟的古積更是首仗上陣已立即交出好表現，古積在52分鐘入替之後，利物浦的反攻他幾乎全都有份參與，我不至於覺得古積已好到與舒夫真高同等級數，但特別值得稱讚他的，是他有很多特色都與舒夫真高相似，兩者的踢法都非常簡練，雖是踢中躉位，但非常努力游走，而且無論去到任何一個攻擊位置，作出的動作選擇都很正確，有時推順腳之後便立即射門，該傳球的時候他們亦會傳球，絕少出現過多上腳盤扭，表現出的技術看似簡單，其實是需要有很紮實的造藝根基才可以做到，舒夫真高具備了上以的特色，同樣地在古積身上亦可以見到。


相信古積首仗的表現，應該可以給予利物浦球迷很大信心，而給予我最深刻的印象，是在接近比賽尾段，鏡頭影到古積在禁區頂的中路位置得到控球權，立即引來兩名韋斯咸球員的看守，當時古積其實仍有空間可以將球控到左邊，然後用左腳尋求他在利物浦及英超聯的首仗首個入球，但古積眼見馬克干沙里斯的積極走位，由左邊走到中路有利位置，古積便在控球後，立即橫傳予馬克干沙里斯，希望能夠造就隊友，這種無私的精神及隊際合作，加上其餘時間與比拿美彷彿已夾檔了很久的合作火花，絕對不覺得有因為新埋班而默契不足的弱點，相信古積憑著這些特點，其前景不單會比已離隊的施斯好很多，甚至展望他有機會成為另一位利物浦的一代射手；當然單以不足半場時間的表現，便覺得古積可以取得如此偉大的前途，或許是有點武斷甚至過份樂觀，但事實上這是我在看到利物浦今仗取勝後的感覺。


最後一樣覺得利物浦、華倫西亞相似的地方，是兩隊在上星期歐聯抽籤的結果都算順利，當華倫西亞抽中與羅馬、奧林比亞高斯、薩克達在D組之後，年青教頭科利斯立即表明對爭取在此組出線甚具信心，在此希望他不要過於輕視奧林比亞高斯及薩克達；至於C組的利物浦，則抽中相信大家都會同意是較弱的兩隊，分別是波爾多及加拉塔沙雷，餘下屬於名牌的PSV燕豪芬，近兩季其實已開始出現青黃不接的情況，始終在朗奴高文領軍下，球隊的質素及經驗都不算特別高，記得朗奴高文在05年曾被阿積士炒魷，而今屆在燕豪芬的開始雖然表現不錯，但亦曾在荷蘭超級盃1-3大敗於阿積士，從這些細微事實引証，相信燕豪芬在C組應不會是利物浦的對手，所以利物浦要在C組取得出線資格，應該會較為容易。

New boy Dirk Kuijt was named Dutch player of the year last night at the annual gala organised by the Dutch FA (KNVB) and was handed the "Golden Boot".

Philip Cocu was runner up and Tim de Cler (AZ Alkmaar) ended in third place but none of that mattered as Kuijt ran away with the vote a lot faster than he tends to do with the ball.

Kuijt was handed the award by his father who is due to undergo major surgery wich visibly moved the Reds forward, who in turn brought half the room to tears with his acceptance speech.

He said:"Dad, to receive this award from you is the best gift you've ever given me and I'm proud of you."

"To stand here in spite of having to undergo surgery not too long from now is very brave and I love you"

After that, Kuijt got up and sang a song with Dutch singer Jan Smit to show everyone that he's not just a pretty face and a good striker.

At the same event, Klaas Jan Huntelaar received the Johan Cruyff award for most talented young player and Johan Cruyff himself received a "Golden Lion" lifetime achievement award.

Liverpool target Daniel Alves is hoping that Reds boss Rafa Benitez returns with a fresh bid for his services.

The Brazilian right-back has so far been priced out of a summer move to Anfield but he's refusing to rule out the possibility of becoming a Red in the future.

Alves was talking to journalists about Liverpool's interest over the summer when he said: "Until the window has shut, I cannot say that I will be staying.

"There's only a few days left. The only thing that worries me at the moment is the Levante match and when the window closes, we will then know what decisions have been taken.

"Players can make a big impact when they win something, especially against a big rival like Barcelona. We caused a bit of an upset in that match.

"I'm very happy at Sevilla and of course it wouldn't be disappointing to stay here but I must also think about the future of my wife and daughter. All I'm saying is whether I stay or go doesn't matter as I'm very happy here.

"Here it has happened before with my former team-mate Sergio Ramos, who played the first La Liga match and then left afterwards.

"We cannot rule anything out just yet."

In Liverpoolfc.tv's latest 'Big Interview' we catch up with promising youngster Lee Peltier, a local lad from Aigburth who's determined to build on a pre-season spent with the first team in Switzerland.  
A graduate of the club's Academy, Peltier has worked his way through the ranks and, after being handed squad number 37, now stands on the fringe of a senior breakthrough.
  
His hard work and fine form for the reserves was rewarded in the summer when called-up by Rafael Benitez to figure in four of Liverpool's five friendly fixtures.
  
That was followed by a place on the substitutes bench for the Champions League qualifier against Maccabi Haifa and Peltier is now itching to make his competitive debut for the Reds.
  
Highly-rated by the Melwood coaching staff, this is an exciting time for the 19-year old Liverpudlian and with the second string set to kick-off their campaign on Tuesday we endeavour to find out a bit more about him...





Lee, most Liverpool fans will have been unfamiliar with your name until you appeared on the team-sheet during pre-season. Can you just tell us a bit about what type of player you are?
  
I would say I'm a hard working defensive type of player who likes to tackle and pass the ball. I get about the pitch quite well and keep it simple.
  
I believe your style has been compared to a young Paul Ince...
  
(laughs) I've read that somewhere myself. I don't know about that to be honest but I suppose in a way my style is quite similar to his.
  
You've played in midfield and defence for the Liverpool youth and reserve teams but what would say is your preferred position?
  
I'm not sure myself! I really don't mind where I play to be honest. When I was at the Academy I played a year at centre back and a year at right back. I was then out for a year through injury and I came back and played in midfield. I played right back for the first team in pre-season so I don't really mind where I play as long as I'm playing.
  
What was it like for you to go on the pre-season tour with the first team?
  
It was unbelievable really and like a dream come true for me. Coming from Liverpool and being a Liverpool fan, it doesn't get any better. Then to play alongside the likes of Gerrard and Carragher was just amazing.
  
Did the call-up come as a surprise?
  
Yes, I definitely wasn't expecting it. I was about three weeks into my holiday and I was in the gym when Frank McParland phoned me to say 'cancel whatever you are doing because you are starting back early training with the first team'. I was made up.
  
It must have come as a massive boost to your confidence?
  
It did. To know the manager and his coaches have faith in me means everything.

Peltier on pre-season
Just to be part of the squad, to see how they go about things and to be involved in the training sessions with them was priceless in terms of my football education. It is a lot faster and more physical than I imagined and it made me realise even more just how good the players are.

Due to injury, this has been my first pre-season with the first team but already I am reaping the benefits. I feel a lot fitter, a lot stronger and much more confident in my ability as a player.
