Game Synopsis:
“A Guidebook of Babel” is an afterlife adventure where players explore “life” beyond death, solve mysteries through the “butterfly effect” by rewriting past events to help “passengers” on the Babel move onto their next life.
The adventure begins as you enter the first stage in the Guidebook – you’ll realize you’ve boarded the Babel and are greeted by the crew on the ship.
This is all because…you were caught in the storm and after “death”, swallowed by puffers and brought unto the Babel – a two-day journey where you spend time erasing past life memories and celebrating the arrival of your next life.
During your time on the Babel, you will encounter events where only the use of “butterfly effect”, a time-travel puzzle mechanism to rewrite past events, can help you progress further after succeeding in quests.
Game Features:
●Butterfly Effect: This is an unusual journey, but you’ll be able to piece everything together in the end. While you’re at it, you’ll realize you can rewind and fast forward to a point in time to rewrite the story. It’s entirely up to you to decide
●Multiple Perspectives: The demo includes a few characters but the full game will see the story unfold from various perspectives. But soon you’ll find that they’ll be meeting each other at crossroads.
●Unpredictable Outcomes: Your quests may fail if you are unable to find the accurate past events to rewrite. Pay attention, as the smallest changes could drastically alter the future…
