配合季後賽熱潮，遊戲也將推出全新主題球員卡。首次新增的「季後英雄 Moment」球員卡，是以實際在 MLB 季後賽中表現活躍的球員為主題，不僅完美呈現季後賽氛圍，更為玩家帶來全新的收集樂趣。
而為迎接季後賽到來，正式慶祝活動也已開跑。玩家參與各種活動即獲得能在季後賽專屬特別挖角中使用的挖角券，最多高達 200 張，還有機會入手珍貴的「FA Signature 禮包」。從 10 月 16 日起，更將舉辦可引進全新「季後英雄 Moment卡」的選擇球隊活動。
此外，10 月 8 日開始玩家完成每日任務即可獲得「Prime 禮包（選擇球隊）」、「頂級技能變更券」、「界限突破卡」等熱門道具獎勵。10 月 20 日起也將推出以對戰為核心的「強棒排名賽世界錦標賽」等各種活動。
《MLB 勁旅對決》是基於 MLB 官方授權，具備生動圖像和充滿沉浸感視覺動畫的手機棒球遊戲。由 Jung-Hoo Lee（李政厚）、Bryce Harper、山本由伸等大聯盟頂尖球星擔任全球代言人。今年更獲得棒球名人堂官方授權，Derek Jeter、Greg Maddux、Don Sutton、Tony Pérez、Jack Morris、Tim Raines 等傳奇球員正式加入遊戲陣容，讓遊戲體驗更加豐富精彩。
