The latest update/patch for Grand Theft Auto IV on Games for Windows LIVE can be downloaded from the links above.  It is also advised that you update your games for windows client after installing the game update. www.gfwl.com


Here is the detailed information of what is being addressed with this update/patch:


Grand Theft Auto IV

v. 1.0.7.0 / 1.0.6.1 (Russian) / 1.0.5.2 (Japanese)
  • fixed a bug causing tree leaves to look transparent
  • fixed a bug that prevented uploading of rendered videos to Social Club when attaching certain music tracks
  • fixed for clip capture "OFF" slowdowns occurring when near water's edge
  • exposed "detonate" in custom key mapping options menu for Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and Damned so users can remap "down" arrow key

【IV】更新檔，提供區。(增106 or 107)增106之後的教學。看版上有很多似乎需要GTA4得更新檔，由於Rockstar Game官網更新
所以他們沒開放更新檔下載(可能是因為要防範盜版所以採用帳號更
新的方式)，所以我提供幾個比較常用的更新的檔案。
※由於有天才跟我說不知道怎麼安裝怎麼看版本，所以有低能教學

請按順序安裝，如果是想更新成舊版本，安裝舊版更新檔即可。
GTA4.Patch.1.0.3.0
GTA4.Patch.1.0.4.0
GTA4.Patch.1.0.5.0
-------------------------------6/15更新，增加106 or 107更新檔--------------------------------
※由於訊6不給上傳超過100M的檔案，所以106 or 107都是分割上傳。解壓縮請置同一資料夾。

另外升級了1070後, 還可以線上連線的吧? 因為我是正版的。 之前用了1070後, 可以跟朋友一齊玩, 但係就好多時都連唔到入人地D場...唔知咩事。

make sure you run the installer in compatibility mode with vista or xp sp2

also another member, sonic, recommended this, and he says it's the official microsoft solution for non-working installlers:

1.Click the Start button , click All Programs, and then click Accessories.
2.Right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run as administrator. In the User Account Control window, verify that Program name is Windows Command Processor, and then clickYes.
3.In the Administrator: Command Prompt window, type or paste the following text at the prompt: reg delete HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\SQMClient\Windows\Disabled Sessions /va /f

4.Press Enter to install the solution.
5.If The operation completed successfully displays, close the Administrator: Command Prompt window to complete this procedure.

This is the official Microsoft solution for non-working installers.

我想問個download次序, 同埋第1條LINK要PW既?
我前排買左碟...一直都未玩
今日入去玩左陣, 有時OK LAG,
佢有自動更新過, 但我又唔確定而家係咪1070, 請問係邊可以CHECK到?
