皇馬新主席費蘭度馬田對於球隊現時的成績甚為不滿，希望下季能夠獲得賓尼迪斯的加盟，帶領球隊贏取錦標。

Rafael Benitez has been handed some good news ahead of Wednesday's Champions League decider against Benfica after scan results proved that Sami Hyypia's injury is not serious.  
The Reds defender was forced to leave the field at half-time during the draw with Charlton Athletic on Saturday because of a tight hamstring but a scan this morning has revealed the injury is less serious than first thought.
  
Ian Cotton, spokesman for Liverpool Football Club, said: "The scan did not show up anything serious and Sami will be fit to train with the rest of the squad on Tuesday."

Steven Gerrard shrugged off his disappointment at Liverpool's failure to beat Charlton at the weekend by insisting: "It's only a matter of time before the goals start going in."  
The Reds are now preparing for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Benfica when the skipper knows they will need to be more clinical in front of goal than they were against Alan Curbishley's men on Saturday.
  
Gerrard admits the goalless draw with Charlton represented 'a missed opportunity' for Liverpool to strengthen their claim on second place, but he believes the Reds will find their shooting boots as they look to come back from a goal down against Ronald Koeman's men.
  
"I don't think because we haven't scored against Charlton will have an effect on what happens on Wednesday," said the Liverpool skipper.
  
"The ground will be a lot noisier come Wednesday, I'm sure the boys will play at a higher tempo.
  
"We know what the press are going to say because we have been getting a lot of 1-0 results and on Saturday we couldn't find that breakthrough. We've just got to keep creating the chances and hopefully a few breaks will go our way and the goals will come.
  
"We've definitely got goalscorers in the squad. I'm sure it is only a matter of time before the goals start going in."
  
He added: "It was a 1-0 game on Saturday - if Robbie's goal had stood, we have seen it and it was onside. The linesman has given offside for Djibril but he wasn't interfering with play. But sometimes decisions don't go your way. We need to be more clinical in front of goal on Wednesday.
  
"Robbie was close to getting into the Kop. It would have been nice for Robbie to get the goal and it would have given him a lot of confidence. But he is playing well and working hard. 　　從賽季開始以來，“鋒無力”找個陰影一直困擾紅軍。數據最能說明問題。進入2006年，利物浦一共踢了14場比賽，其中7場1-0(本場之前連續5場1-0)，利物浦戰績為5勝2負。五個進球中基維爾2個，祖安法蘭1個，海皮亞1個，前鋒團僅克勞奇貢獻了一個。另外7場比賽，“零進球”有三場，戰績1平2負。一場1-1與保頓戰平，謝拉特破門。2場比賽攻入2球，分別是2-2戰平保頓，謝拉特和祖安法蘭建功，2-1戰勝樸茨茅斯，謝拉泰利瑟破門，還有一場紅軍確實大開殺戒了，但對手僅是非英超球隊盧頓，而且不算已經租借離隊的彭格勒(2球)，其余三個進球由謝拉特和艾朗素包辦，換句話說，近14場比賽利物浦四大前鋒的總進球數竟然只有1球！

　　去年夏天紅軍差點“回收”奧雲，結果陰錯陽差，金童去了紐卡素。兩方之間的談判究竟什麼地方崩了，在這裡暫且不必追究。穿上紐卡素球衣後，奧雲說的一番話至今仍是紅軍最大的痛。

　　奧雲說：“利物浦陣中沒有一個人能保證進20個球，就像伊恩-拉什、(曾經的)科拿和我。”

　　事實也正像奧雲所說，盡管賓尼迪斯冬天的時候把科拿弄了回來，但不可否認，科拿已經過了巔峰時期，況且他在克勞奇和摩連迪斯的“壓迫”下出場時間少得可怜。利物浦眼下除了殺手，什麼都不缺，門將有雷拿，防線上卡拿格、芬蘭穩健、海皮亞老當益壯、左路稍顯單薄，但也沒有太大問題。中場不論是謝拉特、基維爾、祖安法蘭這樣的攻擊型中場，還是艾朗素、夏文這樣側重組織或防守的後腰，都算得上一流之列，只有鋒線，14場比賽只有1個進球，與利物浦歐洲冠軍的身份相差太遠了。紅軍隊長曾公開承認：“我和卡拿格都勸說奧雲回來。”說明謝拉特對自己球隊的隱患看得相當清楚。可惜該來的躲不掉，盡管紅軍隊長“玩命”比賽、進攻，但是也難以補上球隊鋒無力的窟窿。

　　賓尼迪斯賽前曾暗示說，要跟科拿續約。“我對他很滿意。或許他的速度比以前慢了，但是他很聰明，仍然能甩掉對方，仍然能創造機會。現在還不是下定論的時候，不過到目前為止，一切都在朝著積極方向發展。”

　　一個科拿能否解決紅軍最大問題？即便科拿能夠做到，也不是長久之計，畢竟他年齡已經大了。賓尼迪斯心中是否有了“鋒無力”的解藥？目前還看不到端倪。只是有一點可以肯定，如果“前鋒不進球”這個問題解決不好，利物浦就難以真正對車路士發起沖擊，重奪英超聯賽冠軍的夢想仍很遙遠。
