Champions League hero Jerzy Dudek is included in a young Liverpool Reserves team to face Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park on Monday night at 7pm.  
The Reds will also field young starlets Jack Hobbs, Godwin Antwi, Paul Anderson, Adam Hammill and Miki Roque, all of whom are expected to be involved in the FA Youth Cup Final on Thursday when Liverpool entertain Manchester City in the first leg at Anfield.

Bolton boss Sam Allardyce could only admire Robbie Fowler's ability in front of goal as he watched his side go down to a slender defeat at Anfield yesterday.  
Allardyce felt his side deserved at least a share of the spoils based on their first half performance alone, during which they had a couple of great chances to open the scoring before Fowler's 45th minute strike.
  
Liverpool coasted to victory in the second half and the Bolton boss believes Fowler's goal knocked the wind out of his side's sails.
  
He said: "The goal is what he is all about and shows why he has scored so many goals in his career. He mishit that shot but it was on target and bobbled in.
  
"He makes sure that however he connects, the ball is on target. We had a couple of excellent chances early on but didn't get them on target.
  
"We should have snuffed him out, he had time and space to score like that. We dominated the first half and the last thing I expected was to go in at the break one down.
  
"That killed us off, it certainly knocked the lads back and although they tried hard they did not have the belief after the break to get back into it.
  
"We paid the ultimate price for creating chances and not talking them. If you want to play in Europe then you have to score when you are on top because that gives you the drive to keep going when teams like Liverpool come back at you."

Robbie Fowler celebrated scoring the winning goal over Bolton on his 31st birthday and insisted: "I have plenty of years left in me."  
Fowler's strike just before the half time whistle was enough to give the Reds their fifth straight league victory and take them to the 70 point mark for only the second time in ten seasons.
  
The Liverpool striker is still waiting to discover if he'll be offered a new contract at the end of the season but he remains confident he still has what it takes to do a job at the highest level.
  
"I think it's the first time I've scored on my birthday so to score the only goal in a 1-0 win is perfect. I'm very happy," he said.
  
"There weren't that many chances, it was an instinctive shot and I was fortunate enough to see it go in.
  
"I think there are plenty of years still left in me. I think people have been saying over the years that I've been past it. But in games I have started with Liverpool I have a reasonably good record and I hope that it can continue.
  
"I've got to keep plugging away and score as many goals as I can before the end of the season. Everyone knows where I want to be and until the manager says otherwise I'm happy to go along with things.
  
"I'm getting fitter but there are only four games left. I've not had many runs of games all season, but since I've been here the manager has involved me more and more and the more games you play the fitter you will feel. I do feel better."

Liverpool FC would like to warn fans against buying home match tickets from unofficial sources as these tickets may well be fakes.  
There have been increasing numbers of fans turned away from the turnstiles at Anfield with fake tickets purchased from internet sites or touts at the stadium.
  
LFC do not supply tickets for home games to any agents operating through Internet sites. The only safe place to buy online is from the official club site.

Top screenwriter and director of ITV drama 'Hillsborough' Jimmy McGovern talks about how the 1989 tragedy changed his life and the way he works forever.  


  
Hillsborough affected me more than I ever imagined it possible for anything or anyone to ever affect me.
  
I remember I was involved in a workshop miles away from Liverpool twelve months after the disaster and during it I was speaking with someone about Hillsborough. It was the first time I had spoken about it with strangers and the guy I was chatting to came towards me with an arm of sympathy and I just broke down in front of forty people.
  
I wasn't even at Hillsborough and I didn't suffer but still I was sobbing uncontrollably. It was the most amazing experience of my life. I was tired and I'd been working hard and yet it was amazing how it could get to you like that. God knows how those people who had been in the pens were feeling.
  
Somebody who I have nothing but contempt for once implied that I established my name and reputation on the back of Hillsborough. After 'Cracker' I could have worked anywhere. I could have gone to America and had money coming out of my ears. That applied to everyone who worked on the programme. Everybody worked for a pittance on 'Hillsborough' and certainly for half the money they could have got anywhere else because Granada knew they weren't going to be able to sell it worldwide.
  
I did it because I was asked to do it by the Hillsborough families. I didn't use Hillsborough in any way. I would never do that. This sounds coarse and vulgar and conceited but Hillsborough needed me then; I didn't need Hillsborough. That's the truth. I'm glad I did it because I have made so many good friends who have been through hell.
  
There was total commitment from everyone during the shoot and that was the first time I had ever experienced anything like that. We were up against teams of lawyers saying you can't say this and you can't say that. I would write the most simple speech twelve times just to satisfy the lawyer. That's the way we made that film.
  
It was very well received. I had a few rows with a fanzine but I take my hat off to them because they gave me great plaudits. It's not easy to impress a fanzine but they were very kind and generous with their comments.
  
We expected 'Hillsborough' to have an impact but it went on to win BAFTAs. It was embarrassing because I was putting on my dickie-bow for the award shows while the families were still grieving for their dead.
  
Hillsborough changed the way I work. I will not work that way again. If people ask me to tell their stories then I will find a more empowering way of doing it. At the time I didn't know that and neither did the families, they just wanted their story to be told.

John Arne Riise believes Liverpool are still in the running to win the race for second place in the Premiership.  
The Reds are five points behind Manchester United having played a game more, but Riise insists there's still enough time for Liverpool to take advantage of any slip from Alex Ferguson's side.
  
"We're still hoping for second place, but there's nothing we can do except win all our games and see where it takes us," said Riise.
  
"The first target is obviously to make sure we finish at least third, but then we're thinking of sneaking second. I know it's going to be tight against Manchester United with only a few games left, but we believe we can do it.
  
"We've improved a lot since last season. Now we need to improve in more areas.
  
"Points-wise this has been much better than a year ago. You can see that from the fact we've got 70 points already.
  
"The first season I came here we got 80 points and finished second. Usually that would have been enough to win it. Now we've got a great chance to get as many as 82."
  
Liverpool are one win away from securing Champions League football next season - although an Everton victory over Spurs next Saturday will secure third place for the Reds even before they travel to face Blackburn the following day.
  
"If we win our games we're secure so we don't need any favours," insisted Riise.
  
"At the moment we're playing some good stuff and don't need to think about the results of those below us.
  
"As long as we keep winning we'll maintain some momentum and keep our confidence up, which we'll need going into the Chelsea semi-final. But the first priority is Blackburn away next weekend."

　　科拿能否成功續約，克勞奇的作用也很關鍵。雖然高佬的進球率並不高，但是賓尼迪斯有自己的想法。“我記得上賽季對付像保頓這樣的對手時，利物浦身體不夠強壯，有些球員無法與對手對抗。如果要擊敗車路士或是曼聯這樣的球隊，你需要擁有世界級球星和成熟的戰術體系，而當目標是多得分的時候，就必須要在侵略性很強的英超聯賽中戰勝半數以上的球隊。這就是我買克勞奇的原因，你必須擁有一個能控制比賽的陣容。克勞奇就有這樣的能力，我們以前不具備(在前場)控球和吸引對方防線的能力，克勞奇加盟後，利物浦就有了這種類型的球星。”

　　科拿經驗豐富，射門技術出色，克勞奇能吸引對方防守球員，為隊友制造空檔，一個是助攻型，一個是進球型，這樣的雙劍合璧是賓尼迪斯最渴望看到的結果。本輪聯賽克勞奇與科拿首次在聯賽中攜手破門，這是個不錯的信號，科拿能否在夏天獲得新合同，或者更進一步說能否在下個賽季佔據一定地位，賽季剩余的比賽將是關鍵。
