Those who know me, know that I love Gary's guitar playing, I've been a major fan since 1982. I never cared much for his bluesdays, and I've been dreaming about a comeback to his hardrock days for over 20 years now. So you could say that my expectaions were pretty high! But, man oh man was I in for a hugh disapointment! It looked like he wanted be somewhere else instead, and his band looked even more bored - with the exception of Mr Carter, who actually looked like he enjoyed himself. He wrote so many fantastic songs in the 80's, why oh why did he have to play Still got the %&#" blues and Walking by myself? what if he had played Don't take me for a loser, Hold on to love, Murder in the skies, Victims of the future, Nuclear attack or just about anything else, hell, I would have prefered Law of the jungle before those crapsongs! Crap setlist, crap performance, crap sound - total crap! Like Tolvis, I thought the only high point was Empty rooms, that solo is still THE best guitar solo ever!

The new songs are ok, Days of hereos is a shameless rip off of Emerald, but I'll let it slide as long as he doesn't play blues. Where are you now sounds like something left over from Dark days in paradise - his only good album since After the war. I'm done spilling my guts here......

Sounds like it was recored from the floor of the club, sound quality is good/great for an audience recording, I almost thought it was soundboard, it's almost that good!

This was recorded during the band's Weight of the World tour, and I must say this band lights it up during this show! The setlist is similar to their release from a show recorded in England earlier that year, (Live At The Gods 2002) but with the title track "Weight of the World" and the amazing "Saviours Never Cry".

One thing I enjoy about this show is that the band is having fun and the interaction between Harry and the audience is gut busting!

Great setlist with a good range of songs from almost every album that the band has put out from 1991-2002! Also two from their "Rubber" phase!

A true gem from one of Canada's most underrated bands!

This is a must for all fans of Def Leppard, White Lion, Extreme, Night Ranger, Styx, Queen, and Journey!

Ok , let me make this perfectly clear , I was in a great spot for recording , but you would never know it, because the crowd was only there to talk to eachother and see who could be heard over the band  ... that's what you get when tix are free and people were only there for a cheap night out  with "background music". I moved around quite a bit trying to get away from the circles of talkers, it was not easy . Really too bad beacause Great White kicked ass , I was never a big fan of Great White , I was only there for the cheap night out ( but I respect the music ) . They were really good , strong Vocals ( dare I say at time he reminded me of Steve Marriot ) and amazing  guitar work , tight band . I would pay to see them in a better environment . All in all I would say the  recording is not too bad , worth a listen if you are a Great White fan , for the most part the music  dominates the talking, but the talkers are always there in the background ... ALWAYS , but it does get  better as the show goes on .

Now THIS my friends, was a fun show. Vince Neil was a great opening act as it was like getting a small dose of Motley Crue to go with the expected great show from Van Halen. I really liked the Exposed CD and knew what kind of guitar player Stevie Stevens was, but damn! He blew my expectations completely out of the water.

I have a lot of fond memories of shows at Starwood Amphitheatre and I'm still sad it's gone. There is still no real good outdoor concert venue in the Nashville area and it's just a travesty what happened to this great venue. I can't think of a better place to hang out for a summer concert.
