Bolo Zenden is hoping Liverpool can continue their good recent form when they make the trip to the Emirates Stadium to face Arsenal on Sunday and said the team are prepared to battle and work hard to get a good result.  
Going into the big match the Reds are a point behind the Gunners in the Premiership and the Dutch international knows how crucial this game this will be for Liverpool.
  
"It will be a very important game for us on Sunday," reasoned Zenden. "We are aware where we are in the league. We know our away form hasn't been the best but lately we have stepped it up a gear and done better than we did at the beginning of the season.
  
"One of our aims is to get the Anfield form into the away games as well and we are working hard at it. It is one thing playing well but it is also important to get the wins under your belt.
  
"If you look at the Birmingham game, it wasn't the prettiest but we did keep a clean sheet and we did win. That is something we definitely have to work for.
  
"We had a few good results lately away from home in the Champions League so we are fairly confident we can do the job on Sunday but it will definitely be a tough game.
  
"We have to do better in away games but sometimes it can't always be pretty. I am sure the away results will come. It's nice to play well but if you lose at the end it is not very enjoyable."
  
After spending a large part of last season on the treatment table through injury Zenden knows how Momo Sissoko will be feeling as he faces three months on the sidelines and added he hopes the Mali international makes a quick recovery from his shoulder injury.
  
"It is a big blow losing Sissoko," admitted Zenden. "We all know how important he is to us. We hope he is back as soon as possible.
  
"He is a fantastic player with a lot of energy and always ready for a challenge. We will definitely miss him but we have got a big squad with quality players that can do a job.
  
"Last November I did my cruciate ligaments. With a big injury you need a bit of time but I am just pleased to get all the minutes under my belt and am trying to do better and am fighting for my place now."

Liverpool last season finished above Arsenal in the league for the first time since 1996.
  
The last Liverpool hat-trick against the Gunners was scored by Robbie Fowler in December 1995 at Anfield.
  
The only Liverpool hat-trick at Arsenal was scored by Gordon Hodgson in October 1928 in a 4-4 draw.
  
Liverpool's biggest win at Arsenal came in October 1893 when they won 5-0 in the first ever meeting in London between the sides. Their heaviest defeat saw them lose 8-1 in September 1934.
  
Liverpool have conceded nine goals in the last three visits to Arsenal. They had only conceded six goals in the previous 11 League meetings at Highbury.
  
Liverpool are hoping a new ground will bring a change of fortune as they had not won in their last six league visits to Highbury conceding 13 goals in the process.
  
The Reds last win at Arsenal came in February 2000 when Titi Camara scored the only goal of the game. Only three of the winning side that day are still at Anfield - Jamie Carragher, Sami Hyypia, and Steven Gerrard.
  
The Reds have won just 12 of their last 48 visits to London in the league.
  
Liverpool are looking to score their first goal away from home in the Premiership since the opening day of the season-and that was a Robbie Fowler penalty at Sheffield United.
  
Jamie Carragher has been sent off twice in his Liverpool career both times in London with the last coming against Arsenal in an FA Cup tie in 2002.
  
Robbie Fowler has scored nine goals in 13 Premiership appearances for Liverpool against Arsenal and 11 in 15 games in all competitions.
  
Luis Garcia has scored in 26 different games for the Reds since joining the club. The only one in that time he has finished on the losing side was at Highbury last season.
  
Should he find the net in this game he will become the first player since Robbie Fowler in December 1995 to score for the Reds in three successive league games against Arsenal.

Jermaine Pennant joined Arsenal on his 16th birthday for £1.5 million from Notts County in 1999. He made only two Premiership starts for the club, scoring a hat-trick against Southampton (his only goals for the Gunners) in May 2003.

  Peter Crouch will make his 200th league appearance if selected to face Arsenal on Sunday.  
The striker, who has eight goals for the Reds this season, has reached the milestone during spells at QPR, Portsmouth, Aston Villa, Norwich, Southampton and Liverpool.
