LAST CHANCE TO RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE WITH AK
It's almost final team selection for the PFA Borneo Cup, so with limited space available, Liverpool legend Alan Kennedy is urging those up for an adventure to get in touch now to avoid missing out on this once in a lifetime opportunity!
Alan's joining five other football legends this May in the wilds of Borneo to take part in a series of gruelling challenges with the aim of raising over £100,000 for a fantastic charity. As well as Alan, Neville Southall (ex Everton), Arthur Albiston (ex Manchester Utd), Brian Kilcline (ex Newcastle Utd), Peter Nicholson (ex Bolton Wanderers) and Simon Garner (ex Blackburn Rovers) have all pledged their support to the challenge and are currently searching for team mates to travel with them to Borneo.
Leading teams through the jungle, there's guaranteed to be all the rivalry of a cup final as they battle through tasks including a white water rafting race, mountain biking and a climb to the summit of Mount Kinabalu. Do you think you've got what it takes to help see the Liverpool team crowned champions?
If so you could be joining the legends in the jungle and helping raise funds to provide life changing equipment for children and young people with sickness or disabilities, such as Chelsea.
With a rare undiagnosed condition that gives her tremors and seizures, Chelsea did not learn how to walk until she was seven and due to her disability is unable to talk. Now 16, Chelsea just wants to be like any other teenager but her mobility problems leave her stuck at home with mum while her friends enjoy their first taste of independence.
Just £700 would buy Chelsea a specially adapted tricycle which would give her a new lease of life and reduce her dependency on her parents. She could join the girls on a shopping spree or meet a friend at the top of the road - simple teenage pleasures that we all take for granted but which, at the moment, aren't an option for Chelsea.
To join forces with the brave captains on this memorable trip and to raise money for children like Chelsea in your area, get in touch now before it's too late! There are also fantastic sponsorship packages available for businesses interested in sending an employee or customer. Call Gemma Fitzmaurice or Alicia Duffey at Mere PR on 0161 929 8700.
